Really nice stay. Rooms are well maintained and equipped with extra pillows and are very secure with a building code and room keys locked behind individual key safes. Staff were really nice and informative, calling ahead of time to inform details of booking and left a message and follows up with a text to ensure we had everything we needed to know. The car park is spacious and well kept, and the building is very clean and tidy.
Im surprised on Google maps that it is classed as a 4 star hotel. It is not a hotel just a parade of houses with rooms. There is no bar, restaurant or breakfast option just room only. Saying that my room was clean and bed was comfortable. To watch the TV you needed a pair of binoculars as it was so small. Location and parking is excellent
I’ve stayed here many times and the rooms are always clean and airy. There is a large carpark behind the dwellings. It is a short walk to the town centre and its location means that it is always quiet at night. I highly recommend Kidwells House.
We stayed here 2 nights in a room with 2 single beds and shared bath. The room was clean, but very basic. There is no restaurant. This is not a hotel. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the train station or to Hereford cathedral. Our room was very close to traffic on the busy road. Easy walk to the prettier, historic old town center of Hereford.
Alison was an absolute angel! So helpful - unlike some of the larger chain hotels in the area. My partner was stuck in Hereford after the recent floods meant his train was cancelled before he was able to reach his destination. She very kindly had a room available for him to stay the night & continue his journey the next day. Was a good place to sleep for a night. We had 2 single beds in the room one for me and one for my child. Both had the squeaky headboards. However, the room was clean the staff welcoming and pleasant and the facilities were nice. The complimentary shampoos, soaps etc were really great. However I noticed that our family booked three rooms. In one room bottled water, biscuits and hot chocolate were provided in addition to usual tea coffee and shampoos etc where the other two rooms didn't get this.
Simple, decently price guest room. We booked a double room with its own facilities- no shared bathroom. And the host was friendly and professional. Basic toiletries were available with clean towels too. There are plenty of room for car park too - the cost of which was included into our rate.
